BioRapid - An activity for young researchers                 

History             

BioRapid, an Association for Promoting UG level research which was established during 2002 - 2005, that majorly focuses on basic Microbiology research. Established by 2002-2005 batchmates of B.Sc., Microbiology degree program from Bharathidasan College of Arts & Science, Tamil Nadu, India.

Our Vision

As for now, we are the team workers newly entering into the UG research promotion activities.

BioRapid, an association to promote the Microbiology research for our beloved young microbiologists who have thirst in research.

We offering our best financial support at very minimal level as for as us now, towards the initiation of research field.

Especially for B.Sc., graduate students (only) at their beginning level. Since we thought to start it from the Under Graduate.

Offerings

Student friends will be encouraged for pursue their higher studies like Masters and Integrated Ph.D., in Microbiology.

They can get good chances to get enter into Indian National lab facilities and improving themselves to national entrance exams for Master degree and others.

Psychological councellings and co-curricular activities from scientists from various places.

          How to keep ambitions in their minds as first.

          How to over come from the financial and personnel problems.

          How to get part time relevant jobs during their course program.

Eligibility

B.Sc., (Microbiology/Biochemistry/Biotechnology) Second year*

* The candidate should have permission to conduct their research in any national/state level research laboratories/universities/institutions in India.

* The assistantship will cover their basic needs for their research.

Assistantship

Rs. 2,000/- per month for two months*

* The amount could be revisable according to our committee suggestions.

* Number of assistanships may be revisable according to our members suggestions.

* Covers for chemicals, samples for research, Instrument facility usages charges and fee for lab usages (if).

Limitations

* It will not cover the boarding and lodging particulars.

* It will not cover for the travel allowances (No TA/DA).

* It will not cover for the stationary goods.

* The total family income should not be more than Rs. 1,00,000/- per month.
